We are seeking a commercially minded Financial Analyst to join our growing finance team within a fast‑paced distribution business based in Blackburn. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical professional to play a key role in financial planning, performance analysis, and decision support across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts and associated variances.
  • Prepare and continually monitor the budgeting process and forecasting position, reforecasting regularly when required.
  • Deliver insightful financial analysis on sales performance, margins, costs, and stock.
  • Support pricing, promotions, and commercial decision-making to maximise on profits.
  • Partner with operational, sales and manufacturing teams to improve financial performance.
  • Develop and maintain meaningful financial models and KPIs.
  • Assist with year‑end processes and audit requirements.
Qualifications & Attributes
  • Part‑qualified or qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or qualified by experience.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
  • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills, possibly Power BI knowledge.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to explain financial data and provide continuous improvement across the business.
  • Proactive, detail‑oriented, and commercially focused.
