We are seeking a commercially minded Financial Analyst to join our growing finance team within a fast‑paced distribution business based in Blackburn. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical professional to play a key role in financial planning, performance analysis, and decision support across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts and associated variances.
- Prepare and continually monitor the budgeting process and forecasting position, reforecasting regularly when required.
- Deliver insightful financial analysis on sales performance, margins, costs, and stock.
- Support pricing, promotions, and commercial decision-making to maximise on profits.
- Partner with operational, sales and manufacturing teams to improve financial performance.
- Develop and maintain meaningful financial models and KPIs.
- Assist with year‑end processes and audit requirements.
- Part‑qualified or qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or qualified by experience.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills, possibly Power BI knowledge.
- Confident communicator with the ability to explain financial data and provide continuous improvement across the business.
- Proactive, detail‑oriented, and commercially focused.
- Competitive salary of £42,000 £ 48,000 depending on experience.

- Study support if required (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
