Location: Blackburn, England, United Kingdom

Salary: £12.21 per hour + £1.84 per hour holiday pay

Working Hours: 18.5hrs per week

Contract: Temporary until 27 March 2026 or return of the postholder whichever is sooner

The role is to facilitate teaching support to enable effective delivery of the Construction curriculum within the building services area. You will be expected to provide day‑to‑day co‑ordination of the workshop, technical and teaching facilities by working with a team of staff to ensure effective support is provided to both staff and students. Co‑ordinate resource usage efficiently in order to deliver the curriculum.

You will also be responsible for managing, monitoring and maintaining resources within the area and will take an active part in the development of curriculum delivery through the annual business planning process.

• Contribute to development of curriculum delivery through annual business planning process.

• NVQ Level 2 or above (or equivalent) in plumbing and extensive practical experience in the plumbing industry.
• Enthusiastic and highly motivated with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to relate to a wide and diverse student population.
• Experience of working with learners in an instructional context would be an advantage.
