Join for Bodyshop Advisor role at Lookers Motor Group Limited located at Lookers Blackburn Volkswagen.
Salary: £36,000 OTE (Base £30,000 + £6,000 bonus).
Position:
Permanent, Full Time •
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm (42.5 hours per week).
Bodyshop Advisor will provide a courteous, welcoming and professional service as customer liaison both in person, via telephone and email. You will welcome customers to the site, handle incoming customer/insurance enquiries, schedule appointments and keep customers updated on repair progress.
Key Responsibilities- Provide regular communication to customers, keeping them informed of repair progress, additional work needed or vehicle completion.
- Keep the Lookers database up to date.
- Ensure all work is managed and administered in line with Lookers' defined processes.
- Upsell bodywork and wheel repair work to customers as appropriate.
- Process invoices and ensure payment is received in full before vehicles are released.
- Liaise with internal aftersales colleagues to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
- Help manage customer problems, complaints and difficult situations, bringing them to a speedy, satisfactory conclusion.
• Previous experience in a similar customer‑facing role is required; experience in the motors trade or bodyshop is desirable but not essential.
• Strong customer‑service focus and skills.
• Full driving licence with a good driving record.
