Our Procurement team is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their busy team based at our Head Office in Blackburn.

KeyDuties
- Processing purchase invoices ensuring all delivery notes are received and approvals are in place
- Liaising with internal departments and suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies and queries
- Maintaining existing account details within Microsoft Dynamics, obtaining and verifying bank details
- Obtaining and reconciling supplier & subcontract statements with top 20 on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy of accounts
- Raising debit or credit notes as and when required
- Logging and coding subcontract invoices in line with company procedures; issuing for authorisation, chasing return and posting once authorised
- Obtaining and verifying subcontractor CIS and Service Provider CIS details; CIS reconciliations and payments
- Processing expenses & credit cards on Concur in line with the expense policy
- Ad‑hoc tasks as required
- GCSE grades 4 or above needed in Maths and English or equivalent
- Ideally AAT Level 3 or 4
- Computer literate – experience of spreadsheet and word processing essential
- At least 3 years accounts experience within a busy finance function
- Experience of working within the construction industry and a working knowledge of CIS rules & regulations
- Experience of using Microsoft Dynamics and Jet Reports would be a distinct advantage
- Numerate
