Department: Maintenance
Reports to: Director of Maintenance
Employment: Full-time, 12 months
Position Summary
The Shipping/Receiving Lead oversees daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, tracking, and distributing district materials and supplies. This position ensures timely deliveries, accurate inventory management, and compliance with district procedures while coordinating workflow and support for warehouse personnel.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license and clean driving record
- Forklift certified or eligible
- Ability to perform basic math and read/interpret labels and instructions
- Experience using inventory tracking programs, spreadsheets, and basic computer applications
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Lead shipping, receiving, inventory, and delivery operations
- Accept, inspect, document, and track incoming shipments
- Pull and fill material and supply requests accurately and efficiently
- Move Child Nutrition essentials and supplies to schools as scheduled or requested
- Maintain and update inventory using tracking systems, spreadsheets, and electronic records
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of chemicals and supplies
- Maintain warehouse security, cleanliness, and safety compliance
- Provide guidance and support to warehouse staff and temporary workers
- Perform additional delivery, support, and administrative tasks as assigned by the Director of Maintenance
- Exposure to dust, chemicals, and extreme temperatures (including freezers)
- Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, pushing, and pulling
- Working around moving equipment and machinery
