Summary of Work
Job Duration:
Up to 20 hours per week for approximately three months. Start and end times are negotiable.
The Groundskeeper is expected to maintain a positive attitude, neat appearance, and friendly demeanor. The role is responsible for:
- Maintaining flower beds and planters to ensure a healthy and attractive appearance.
- Performing landscaping activities, including lawn mowing, string trimming, and edging.
- Planting annuals, perennials, and bulbs as directed.
- Watering, fertilizing, deadheading, pruning, and staking plants as needed.
- Weeding and cultivating garden beds to promote plant health.
- Maintaining garden tools and equipment in proper working order.
- Maintaining general cleanliness of the sites, including removing trash and picking up debris ensuring public areas are clean and presentable.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- A basic understanding of gardening practices and plant knowledge.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and work with other team members.
