Freezer, Cooler and Deli Stocker Associate

Position summary and responsibilities for a freezer, cooler, and deli stocker at Sam’s Club. This role involves keeping shelves stocked and ensuring the sanitary conditions of freezers and coolers, while delivering front-line customer service in the deli department.

• Ensuring high-quality products are taken care of and available for our members
• Ensuring shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser-quality food products
• Packing ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stock displays
• Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area
• Following safety standards and procedures in the facility, including proper handling of hazardous materials and forklift safety
• Maintaining the Sales Floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area in accordance with Company policies
• Receiving and stocking merchandise, setting up and organizing displays, and signing and pricing merchandise appropriately
• Completing required audits, paperwork, logs, and other required documentation; securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise
• Providing member service by acknowledging the member, identifying needs, and assisting with purchasing decisions
• Following policies related to the Freezer/Cooler area, including food handling and cleaning of equipment and areas

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.70. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
