Department Details: At the Walk In Clinic, you can find comprehensive primary and preventive health care for all ages. Our North State Street Walk In Clinic is open Monday - Friday 8:00am-8:30pm, weekends 8:00am-5:30pm, and holidays 10:00am-4:00pm. We offer flexible scheduling in a fast-paced environment with variety every day.

• Ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients
• Documents a thorough medical history from the patient
• Contributes to the assessment of patients and administers medications or treatments as ordered
• Provides technical support to healthcare professionals
• Counsels patients and families, under the direction of a registered nurse, on prevention and treatment plans

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• If IV therapy/management is required, North Dakota requirements include graduation from a Board-approved AASPN program with IV therapy in the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing
• Currently holds an unencumbered LPN license with the State Nursing Board and/or possesses multi-state licensure privileges
• Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
