We are seeking an RN Float Pool for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.
What you will do in this role:- Work in the majority of our departments:
Critical Care, Acute Care, Emergency Room, Surgical Services, Women and Infants, Pediatrics and more - Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation
- Direct and coordinate all nursing care for the department-specific patient population in accordance with standards of nursing care and practice as defined by the hospital and the Kansas Nurse Practice Act
- Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes
- Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participation in quality of care activities to initiate, implement, and sustain process improvements
- Collaborate with patients, families and health care providers in providing and advocating for patient care
- Monitor patient progress toward attainment of outcomes
- Consider safety and cost-effectiveness when delivering patient care
- Participate in the improvement of operational functions of the department
- Secure, administer and handle medication according to established guidelines
- Utilize critical thinking and problem solving skills to identify, interpret and access appropriate resources in patient-specific scenarios
What qualifications you will need for this role:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure in the State of Kansas as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- ACLS
- PALS
- 2 years RN experience, required
- Able to display competencies: IV Therapy, 12-lead EKG administration,…
