Nonprofit Event Coordinator

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Nonprofit Event Coordinator for a mission-driven, community-centered nonprofit organization with a strong regional presence. This is an onsite, full-time role based in Bismarck, North Dakota
, with regional travel across multiple states.

The Event Coordinator plays a key role in supporting meaningful community engagement and fundraising initiatives across a multi-state region. This position partners closely with internal teams and volunteers to coordinate inclusive, well-organized events that advance mission impact and strengthen community relationships. The ideal candidate is collaborative, adaptable, and energized by connecting people to purpose-driven work.

• Coordinate and support fundraising and community events across multiple states, ensuring smooth logistics and inclusive experiences
• Partner with volunteers to provide guidance, tools, and ongoing support before, during, and after events
• Collaborate with internal teams to align event activities with broader engagement and outreach goals
• Manage event communications, schedules, and documentation using CRM and internal systems
• Travel regionally to support on-site events and strengthen relationships with local stakeholders
• Track outcomes and share insights to support continuous improvement and impact reporting

• Experience supporting or coordinating events, fundraising initiatives, or community engagement efforts
• Comfort working collaboratively with volunteers, partners, and cross-functional teams
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
• Clear, inclusive communicator who builds trust and positive relationships
• Familiarity with basic office tools and databases, or a willingness to learn new systems

This full-time position offers a starting salary of $60,000 annually, along with a benefits package that includes vision insurance and a 401(k) plan with employer matching.
