About the Opportunity

As a Mobile Equipment Operator at EMR, you will play a critical role in end-of-life vehicle (ELV) processing at our Bismarck, ND site. Your primary responsibility will be safely draining fluids and preparing vehicles for the recycling process. In addition to ELV processing, you will operate equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the yard.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform end-of-life vehicle processing, including draining fluid and removing parts
  • Safely operate front-end loaders and material handlers to assist customers with unloading scrap
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe environment
  • Meet production goals and support other yard tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
  • Work independently as well as within a team environment
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Maneuver in and around equipment to inspect, operate and maintain company property
  • Bonus:
    • previous experience operating heavy equipment
    • mechanical experience with automobiles
