The Regional Retail Banking Manager is responsible for overseeing retail banking operations and performance across multiple branch locations, providing leadership to branch teams, and ensuring a high standard of customer service, compliance, and sales performance. This role balances people leadership, operational oversight, and direct customer engagement and is ideal for an experienced retail banking leader who enjoys developing teams and building lasting customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversight for retail banking operations across multiple branch locations
  • Supervise, coach, and develop branch staff, fostering employee growth, accountability, and engagement
  • Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional customer service and adherence to policies and procedures
  • Drive performance against assigned sales, service, and operational metrics
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with consumer and business customers
  • Support account opening, consumer and business deposit services, and loan application processes
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex customer or operational issues
  • Promote and cross-sell banking products and services to meet customer needs
  • Assist with teller and universal banker functions as needed to support branch operations
  • Partner with leadership to support staffing, training, and operational consistency across branches
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in retail banking, customer service, or sales
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Associate degree, two-year college degree, or equivalent business or trade education
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to lead with integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities across locations
