Job Summary

Performs major repairs and preventative maintenance work to ensure hotel maintenance quality standards are achieved and maintained.

• Repair things as required including general overhauling of something to improve operating efficiencyor the complete replacement of a unit due to breakdown or failure.
• Maintain things routinely to keep them in good operating condition. This includes cleaning or replacing minor sub components.
• Do preventive maintenance by periodically checking things, through the use of specific checklist and/or schedule or timetable to ensure that the property continually operates within an established set of criteria.
• Candidate must be able to work with little supervision.
• Must be able to do a little carpentry, electrical work, painting, plumbing, tile repair, refrigeration, water testing, snow removal, maintain pools, and carpet repair. All of this is to be done in a customer service environment that keeps the satisfaction of our hotel guest as our number one priority.
• Hire, train and schedule maintenance employees.

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Hospitality experience preferred
• Completion of a craft apprenticeship or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience preferred
• An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
