Seasonal Summer Maintenance Worker Public Works

This is a part time seasonal position for the period of May through September (approximately). Duties include inspections, cleaning, painting, mowing, weed-eating, and light maintenance as assigned and the documentation of work performed through a computer software program.

Typical Hours/Days: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Hours and days vary depending on weather conditions.

Hours per week: 40 (weather dependent)

Ability to read and write. Must have the ability to do considerable walking, heavy lifting, reaching, bending and have average sense of sight and hearing.

Must have a valid North Dakota driver’s license. Must be at least 17 years of age.

• Knowledge of safety standards and practices.
• Skill in the operation of applicable hand and mechanical tools and related equipment.
• Skill in communication, interpersonal skill as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to provide and/or receive work direction.
