• Promote the growth, well-being and autonomy of the individuals served.
• Provide a warm, sensitive, caring environment through positive interaction and rolemodeling,showgenuine interest in people.
• Maintain a sanitary and clean living environment.
• Attend meetings and participate in agency sponsored in service training (attend all staff meetings; successfully complete required training according to Pride's training policy; attend in services offered by Pride so as to enhance one's job performance).
• Be a responsible Team Member (arrive to work on time, flexible with work schedule,punches in/out for scheduled shifts, completes all paper work in a timely manner, effectively and positively communicates with Supervisor and co-workers by checking voice mail when working and utilizing communication logs in assigned settings.)

Qualifications

EDUCATION

• Minimum high school diploma preferred.

EXPERIENCE

• Experience in working with people with disabilities preferred.

PHYSICAL

• Assistance with transferring and lifting up to 50 pounds.

High School or better.

Driver's License
