Direct Support Professional – Float Position (Full-Time, Flexible Schedule)
Multiple Locations | $18.00/hour + $2.00/hr Weekend Differential | 40+ Hours/Week
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where every day brings something new? We’re looking for a dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Float to join our team!
As a DSP Float, you'll have the unique opportunity to support individuals with varying needs across multiple locations. This flexible, full-time role is perfect for someone who is reliable, adaptable, and ready to make a meaningful impact.
What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality, person-centered care and support to individuals in their homes and communities.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Drive individuals to medical appointments and community outings.
- Support individuals based on their specific care plans—reading, understanding, and following each plan accurately.
- Work a variety of shifts, including:
- Mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays
- Sleep and awake overnights
- Emergency or short-notice schedule changes
- Collaborate with Supervisors to ensure consistency and quality of care across all locations.
- Flexibility and a willingness to adjust to short-notice schedule/location changes.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required).
- A compassionate attitude and commitment to person-centered care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be willing to work all assigned shifts, including overnights and weekends.
- Base Pay: $18.00/hour
- Weekend Differential:
Additional $2.00/hour automatically added for all weekend hours - Paid training and orientation
