Summary of WorkAs our Critical Infrastructure Analyst, you will be responsible for providing information and intelligence analysis supporting the Critical Infrastructure Program of the ND Department of Emergency Services (NDDES) – Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Management. The position is assigned to the North Dakota State & Local Intelligence Center (NDSLIC) with work involving complex research and analysis of intelligence/information to establish patterns of threats, risks, consequences, and/or vulnerabilities to critical infrastructure, developing and managing relevant datasets in support of the critical infrastructure program and the NDDES Protection Section.
Duties include supporting the North Dakota State Critical Infrastructure Program by identifying key assets and/or facilities throughout the state; completing analytical sector assessments, developing and maintaining asset databases, conducting site assistance visits as necessary, coordinating critical infrastructure information / intelligence operations, developing situational awareness reports and bulletins, and participating in training and exercises.
Applicants must meet eligibility requirements outlined in Executive Order 12968 (must be a United States citizen). OTAG will not provide sponsorship.
To be considered for the position, an applicant must have a High School Diploma or GED and two years of professional work experience. Relevant education may be substituted for work experience on a year for year basis.
Applicants must pass an extensive background check. Applicant must reside within 30 minutes of Fraine Barracks in Bismarck. Travel in and out of the State of ND may be required.
Position requires extensive knowledge of computer programs to include Office 365, a demonstrated ability or potential to apply technology appropriately to collaborate with stakeholders and create efficiencies in section, agency, and emergency operations; and dedication to continuous identification, learning, and application of new and emerging technological solutions to section, agency, and emergency operations; or the capacity and willingness to quickly learn and apply this knowledge.
