Bravera is hiring for a Credit Administration Coordinator at any Bravera location. This position is responsible for coordinating the credit administration functions of Bravera Bank. Overall responsibility will focus on documentation of credit actions of Loan Committee and reporting various level reporting for Board of Directors, Department Managers, and Chief Credit Officer. Identify opportunities to create standardized forms, processes, and procedures relating to credit or product review functions. Responsible for coordinating the Bravera Loan Committee.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

Works under the supervision of the Chief Credit Officer

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate Loan Committee Meeting (generally 2/week)

  • Create agenda, send to committee members, maintain calendar (held via video conference)
  • Post credit presentations and meeting materials electronically for committee reference to common drive
  • Record committee decisions and voting via credit approvals or word documents for non Web Equity items
  • Advise lenders, assistants, and other departments relative to the day’s meeting content of committee action
  • Items for board review

Loan Documentation

  • Post BLC agendas (PDF format) for recordkeeping, includes BLC Committee, Overdrafts, Denials, email votes, BOD actions of credits
  • Track loan activity weekly via query from WEM
  • Research and provide committee documentation upon request
  • Track & advise of credit requests for insider loans (Reg O reportable)
  • Maintain forms submitted for committee approval (Charge Off, Non Accrual, Risk Rating Reclassification, Credit Card)
  • Track exception approvals and query weekly for quarterly reporting to BOD.
  • Monitor ILTV-SLTV trends

Periodic Reporting

  • Semi-Annual Borrower Concentration Report (December/June)
  • Annual Review of Purchased Participations/UBPR criteria & Tracking (2/yr)

Monthly

Exception reporting – DM’s currently not providing (WEM)

Approval at all levels

LTV charts

Coverage Ratio/Classified trend = short version credit administration

RE concentration trends

SLTV trends

Borrower concentration – working w/JHA for enhancements

Hotel/Motel/Church concentration

Policy Maintenance

  • Bravera Bank Loan Policy & Exhibits – Annual review in September; updates as needed
  • Bravera Bank Loan Procedures & Exhibits – Annual review in September, updates as needed
  • Verify all forms and links are current as supposed to be used in all locations
  • Responsible for promoting teamwork and open communication among all functions of the organization and with Subsidiaries.
  • Responsible for promoting the organization in the community through participation in various civic and community events, activities, committees, and organizations.
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism regarding all employee and customer issues and information.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the organization.
  • Adhere to all banking rules and regulations, including but not limited to the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act. In addition, the employee will be proactive in the prevention of illegal activities, will vigilantly look for activities that may constitute any type of fraud including money laundering, and will report any suspicious activity to the BSA Officer.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES & COMMITTEES:

  • Participate in Action Team and Committees, as assigned.
  • Assist with special credit administration projects, as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.

OR

  • An acceptable combination of education and work experience.
