Bank of North Dakota (BND) is seeking a Student Loan Processing Representative to support the Bank's mission of promoting agriculture, commerce, and industry across the state. Working alongside North Dakota's financial institutions, BND helps fuel economic development and serves as the central depository for state funds—making a real impact in communities statewide.

This role supports the Bank of North Dakota's student loan operations by processing loan updates and account changes requested by the Student Loans team, Collections, and customers. You will play an important behind-the-scenes part in ensuring borrower accounts are accurate, compliant, and up to date.

In this position, you will process forbearance requests and ACH enrollments, verify eligibility and accuracy before applying updates to borrower accounts. You will complete monthly reviews comparing loan data to Department of Defense records and make adjustments as needed. You will also review ACH reports to identify discrepancies, update payment or banking information, and initiate the print process for loan servicing documents.

In addition, you will perform in-office duties during assigned rotations and support Customer Service by handling calls.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have a high school diploma or GED and four years of related customer service experience supporting a variety of products or services, analyzing information to identify solutions, and addressing customer concerns. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for this role. College or vocational education in accounting, business administration, banking, economics, or finance may be substituted for the four-year work experience requirement on a year-for-year basis.
