Job Description
- Serve as Finance Solution Owner for SAP FICO across multiple work streams (Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Asset Accounting, Treasury).
- Configure and maintain Vertex tax engine integrated with SAP (FI, SD, MM).
- Gather business requirements for indirect tax (sales/use tax, VAT, GST) and translate them into system design.
- Set up tax rules, rates, and jurisdictions in Vertex and ensure proper mapping with SAP tax codes.
- Collaborate with Finance, Tax, and IT teams to ensure compliance with global tax regulations.
- Support data migration, testing (SIT/UAT), and cutover activities for Vertex integration.
- Troubleshoot tax calculation issues and provide post-go-live support.
- Document configurations, processes, and provide training to business users.
