Job Summary

The Financial Analyst (II or III) provides accounting, finance, and analytical support in the verification, control, and processing of work activities in the respective area. This includes development and implementation of accounting procedures and systems to assure proper financial reporting and compliance, as well as research and accounting assistance to others. The analyst prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and data requests for management, internal departments, and external entities, and completes day‑to‑day activities, calculations, reconciliations, and analyses necessary for periodic financial accounting closes.

Additionally, the analyst is responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4

EVER Strategy.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Financial Analyst II ($63,990 - $79,990):
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
    • Two years of related accounting experience.
  • Financial Analyst III ($73,610 - $92,010):
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
    • Four years of related accounting experience.
Job Responsibilities
  • Corporate Accounting & Reporting:
    • Accumulate, calculate, coordinate, and record monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting estimates and amortizations for Everus operating companies.
    • Prepare internal statements and financial reports; analyze income, cash flows, and margin statements; research and write explanations of variances.
    • Prepare analyses, reports, and data requests for management, internal departments, governmental agencies, and external entities.
    • Design, complete, and maintain spreadsheets and databases necessary for assigned duties.
    • Comply with GAAP and Sarbanes‑Oxley standards; report financial data related to new or existing FASB pronouncements.
    • Coordinate the preparation of the annual capital and operating budgets, operating plan, and five‑year forecast.
    • Assist in the monthly revenue accounting close and timely reporting and analysis of revenues and accounts receivable aging.
    • Accumulate, investigate, and interpret data for potential acquisition valuation and forecast modeling.
    • Prepare data‑request responses and various management analyses.
  • Internal Controls:
    • Assist in coordinating the Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) management testing program.
    • Follow up on identified deficiencies and ensure remediation.
    • Implement and support financial processes across businesses to improve efficiency and standardize reporting.
    • Rotate between finance teams during peak times.
    • Support financial reporting and quarterly close processes.
    • Assist Internal Audit on projects as needed.
    • Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA or professional certification preferred.
  • Construction accounting experience.
