Lowry Engineering is now accepting applications for a Civil Engineering Technician. Applicant may choose to work out of any of our three office locations (Bismarck, ND, Fargo, ND or Hawley, MN).

Job Responsibilities- Support project engineer/lead Civil Engineering Technician in the preparation of design documents used for the planning, bidding, and construction of engineering related projects.
- Creating CAD drawings from oral or written instructions.
- Organizing the production of plan sets.
- Laying out details and performing detailed quantity takeoffs.
- Create site and grading plans.
- Create surface from survey points using break lines, boundaries, and editing tools.
- Assist land survey crew.
- Associate’s degree or 2+ years of experience in related field.
- Desire to learn and grow in the Civil Engineering/Land Surveying industry.
- Working knowledge of Auto Desk Civil 3D, or AutoCAD related software & Microsoft Office.
- Must be capable of working independently, learning quickly, and adapting to new challenges.
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
- Some travel may be required.
- Ability to conduct themselves in a professional manner.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
