Job Description
Position Title: Band Director
FLSA: Exempt
Qualifications: Applicant must hold a current Arkansas Educator's License in 205 - Instrumental Music PK-8; 206 - Instrumental Music 7-12; 262 - Instrumental Music K-12
Reports To: Principal and/or other Supervisor
Terms of Employment: 230 days

- Abide by state statutes, school board policies and regulations.
- Attend meetings and performs duties as assigned by administrators or supervisors.
- Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy and administrative regulation.
- Serve on committees as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Note: This position is for the 2022/2023 school year. BSD will begin a 4-Day School Week next year.
