Locum Jobs Online  is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Psychiatry MD in North Dakota!

Make a meaningful impact in adult behavioral health care—while enjoying flexible scheduling and full travel coverage!  We’re seeking a  Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist  for a  1.0 FTE inpatient position  in  Bismarck, North Dakota . This locum opportunity offers the chance to work in a collaborative, team-oriented setting with support from a full spectrum of mental health professionals.

With a  pay rate of $270/hr , comprehensive  malpractice insurance , and  all travel and lodging covered , this is an ideal role for physicians looking for work-life balance in a supportive, high-quality environment.

Assignment Details:

Start Date:

As soon as credentialed

Duration:  Ongoing

FTE:  1.0 (Full-time equivalent)

Schedule:

Flexible: 1 week on/1 week off or 2 weeks on/2 weeks off

Includes 1–2 evening calls during the week and  1 weekend per month on call

Setting:  Adult Inpatient Psychiatry + occasional rounding in Partial Hospitalization Program based on census

EMR:  Epic

Job Responsibilities:

Daily rounds on the adult psych unit

Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings

Communicate with families/natural supports

Provide psych consults to inpatient units

Complete timely documentation

Support Staff Includes:

Registered Nurses

Mental Health Technicians

Occupational Therapist & Assistant

Social Worker

On-site Adolescent Psychiatrist

Unit Manager & Director

Compensation & Perks:

Hourly Rate:  $270/hour + 24 hr call + Call back + Holiday rates additional

Malpractice Insurance:  Fully covered

Travel & Lodging:  Complimentary

Orientation Pay:  Paid

✅  Candidate Requirements:

Board Certified or Eligible  in Psychiatry

Active  ND License or IMLC

BLS & DEA certification  required
