We are seeking a Locum Tenens Physician Radiology Interventional in Bismarck, ND.

Rate: Open & Negotiable
Shift: 8a 4p with evening call 4p 8a, 24-hour weekend call
Start Date: Ongoing 2026 coverage (March; February possible)

Position Details:
Patient Population: Interventional Radiology patients requiring diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily IR coverage
- Evening call coverage and 24-hour weekend call
- Perform required IR procedures (see below)
- No reading of diagnostics between cases required
Required Procedures:
- Diagnostic vascular intervention
- Angiography (venous and arterial)
- Angioplasty, stenting, thrombolytic therapy, embolization therapy
- Interventional procedures (body, non-neuro)
- Vascular access devices/PICCs, central lines, port-a-cath insertions
- IVC filters, TIPS, aspiration/drainage procedures
- Percutaneous needle biopsies (above & below diaphragm, bone)
- Extractions (biliary & renal), abscess drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis
- Myelography, pain management procedures, percutaneous transhepatic cholangiogram
- Blood patch, joint/epidural injections, vertebroplasty, arthrograms
- Chest tube insertion, uterine artery embolization, liver Y90/TACE, gastrostomy tube insertion
- Nephrostomy/ureteral stent insertion, renal fistulograms, cryoablation
- Preferred but not required: neuro (stroke thrombectomy)
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff:
- Days Per Month: Ongoing coverage
On-Call/Weekends: Yes
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified Required
- ND License or IMLC Required
- Residency/Fellowship Required
- ACLS, BLS Required
- Clean Malpractice preferred
- Availability at time of name clear Required
- Must have experience with all required procedures (Yes/No per procedure list) Required
- Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation Required
