Locum Jobs Online  is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Interventional Radiology MD in Bismarck, North Dakota, 58501!

We are seeking a  locum Interventional Radiologist  to provide coverage in Bismarck, ND. This is a hands-on position focused on general IR procedures, with stroke thrombectomy experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

Provide daily interventional radiology care, performing  10–15 procedures per 8-hour shift

Cover weekday 8a–4p shifts with evening call 4p–8a, and  24-hour weekend call

Perform general IR procedures including:

Diagnostic & therapeutic vascular interventions (angiography, angioplasty, stenting, thrombolytic therapy, embolization therapy)

Vascular access devices, central lines, PICC lines, port-a-caths, IVC filters, TIPS

Aspiration/drainage, percutaneous biopsies, thoracentesis, paracentesis, myelography

Pain management injections, vertebroplasty, arthrograms, chest tube insertion

Uterine artery embolization, liver Y90/TACE, gastrostomy tube insertion, nephrostomy/ureteral stents

Cryoablation and extractions (biliary & renal)

Collaborate with hospital staff using  Epic EMR

Maintain compliance with all licensure, certification, and procedural documentation requirements

Requirements

Board Certified in Radiology

ND medical license or  IMLC eligibility

Completed Residency/Fellowship in Radiology

ACLS and BLS required

NPDB Self Query report within 30 days

Clean malpractice preferred

Experience in general IR procedures required; stroke thrombectomy is preferred but optional
