Creative Director

Evangel exists to CONNECT REAL PEOPLE TO A REAL GOD! We are one church in multiple locations including campuses in Bismarck, Dickinson, Garrison, Online and more to come! The church is about one person, Jesus, but it is composed of many different kinds of people and we are always looking for quality people to join the team.

The Creative Director brings experience in creating spirit-inspired moments through video, visuals, art, and other creative avenues. They will lead a team of creatives maximizing their potential, and delivering next-level content.

• Lead Creative Dept – Manage and lead creative team, giving art direction, feedback and creative direction to graphics, and video departments.
• Video – Be the lead video creator and visual storyteller. Giving feedback to videographers, guiding their growth, and delivering cutting-edge videos. Creating special in-service content for video walls/screens. Working alongside production and other creative team depts.
• Key Weekend/Events Creative Moments – Work with the Director of Experience to develop service openers/specials, and other in-service creative moments.
• Project & Task Management – Manage projects and help create timelines for video and graphic needs in Asana. Ensure tasks have been created and the right people are informed of the role they play in completing projects.
• Lead, Develop, Grow Capture Dream Teams – Lead capture dream team to enable other creatives in the church to utilize their talents on Sundays, and at other ministry events.

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in videography and graphics
• Experience leading teams
• Examples of work available online for review
• Naturally creative/idea generator that can bring their (and others) ideas to life
• Strong editorial problem solver
• Self-motivated

Evangel was started in 1928 because two brothers had a passion to reach the community of Bismarck for Jesus. Through the years, Evangel has grown into a church with a regular weekend attendance that surpasses 3,000 people joining across all its campuses. The church is served by a dynamic group of Elders and church staff who give direction and oversight to the church.

While Evangel’s broadcast location remains in Bismarck, the vision is regional in nature and people are being reached all across the upper Midwest and beyond!
