Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesTo successfully perform this role, an individual must be able to carry out each essential duty satisfactorily. - Establish project goals and timelines for each awarded project, clearly defining objectives, risks, assumptions, staffing requirements, roles and responsibilities, work breakdown structures, milestones, and deliverables.
- Oversee all project start-up requirements to ensure an efficient and successful launch.
- Manage administrative project obligations, including obtaining building permits, ensuring code compliance, and meeting all other regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership, oversight, and support to project crews throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and manage budgets, cost estimates, construction schedules, progress updates, and monthly project reports.
- Attend project coordination meetings as well as owner, contractor, architect, and engineer meetings as needed.
- Perform cost-benefit analyses, risk assessments, and ROI evaluations to determine overall project feasibility.
- Conduct and manage site meetings, RFIs, invoices, change orders, and all project control documentation.
- Track and monitor all project costs to ensure completion within established budgets.
- Oversee the preparation, review, and finalization of contractor and trade contracts, ensuring timely resolution of all issues.
- Manage a diverse group of stakeholders, including site superintendents, subcontractors, designers, estimators, and general contractors.
- Identify and resolve conflicts within project teams and develop contingency plans to proactively mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with all company, client, and project policies, procedures, and standards, including enforcing safe work practices during site visits.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and regulatory agencies.
- Actively participate in company and corporate programs, initiatives, and policies that support organizational improvement and success.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study PLUS two years or more of related construction experience, OR six years or more of progressively responsible industry-related experience.
- Working knowledge of industrial construction equipment and techniques, as well as the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, building materials, and applicable standards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, estimating software and systems, file sharing platforms, and strong typing skills.
- Ability to take initiative, assume responsibility, and collaborate effectively with team members.
- General Industrial or Industrial Mechanical Construction experience preferred.
