Conveyancing Paralegal

Our client is seeking a Conveyancing Paralegal to join their property department in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire. The role involves assisting Fee Earners in the performance of their duties within the Property Department. Drive and ambition are essential; the ideal candidate works independently and in a team, manages their own casework, and communicates effectively in writing and verbally.

• Typing correspondence and documents, including faxes and e‑mails.
• Managing own casework.
• Preparing and distributing papers and documents for meetings.
• Liaising with courts and legal professionals.
• Drafting letters and other documents.

• Dealing promptly with all correspondence and instructions.
• Managing telephone, faxes, and e‑mails.
• Organising meetings with fee earners and clients as directed.
• Booking meeting rooms.
• Keeping departmental and individual diaries up to date.
• Ensuring postal, document exchange, and hand deliveries are sent promptly.

• 1+ years’ experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal.
• Experience in Property Law preferred, but not essential.
• Discretion in handling confidential information.
• Computer literacy.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Exceptional spelling and grammar.
• Ability to work to deadlines and multitask effectively.
• Ensuring photocopying is delivered to the general office.
