Pay Rate: £15.56 per hour PAYE £20.29 per hour Umbrella

Seven Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Lecturer in Health Care and Education to work on a full-time temporary contract based in Crook. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified educator with experience in health and social care, further education, and vocational training.

This role involves delivering engaging, face-to-face teaching sessions across the County, as well as supporting learners enrolled on distance learning programmes. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students to achieve qualifications in Health Care, Education, and First Aid training.

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Health Care and Education programmes
• Provide engaging, face-to-face classroom delivery across multiple locations
• Support learners undertaking distance learning and blended learning courses
• Deliver or support delivery of Basic First Aid training (training can be provided if required)
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback in line with awarding body standards
• Maintain accurate records in line with education compliance and quality assurance frameworks
• Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion within all teaching practices

• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent)
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Health Care or Education
• Experience delivering within further education, adult education, or vocational training settings
• Ability to deliver Basic First Aid or willingness to complete relevant training
• Strong classroom management and learner engagement skills
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
• Experience delivering Health and Social Care qualifications
• Knowledge of apprenticeships, NVQs, or accredited learning programmes
• Experience supporting learners remotely via online learning platforms
