Consultant, Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Business

Expertise Ltd partners with micro and small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) to simplify and optimize ISO audit readiness, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency and business growth. Specializing in ISO standards, their team of lead auditor-level practitioners provides hands-on support with deep technical insights. Expertise Ltd offers tailored services, including gap analysis, custom documentation, internal audits, and comprehensive audit preparation. Their mission is to empower businesses with robust management systems that promote effective and efficient business systems that support the respective ISO standard, while delivering value beyond certification.

This is an ad-hoc Consultancy role, based across the UK and possibly beyond. The engaged Consultant will assist clients in achieving ISO compliance by performing gap analyses, developing customized documentation, providing internal auditing services, and supporting 3rd party audit preparation. Key responsibilities include guiding business owners and teams through the ISO readiness process, recommending tailored management system improvements, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards.

The Consultant will also participate in designing and implementing systems that improve operational efficiency, governance, and overall business performance.

Our goal in attaining applicants for these roles is to create a "one-stop-shop" for everything ISO whether that is ISO-3101 (standardising making a cup of tea) or ISO-27001 (Information Security Management). Expertise want to enable our clients to be the best that they can be.

• Proficiency in ISO standards, and an understanding of ISO audit preparation processes
• Experience with gap analysis, internal auditing, and developing or refining management system documentation
• Strong technical knowledge in the consultant's area of expertise
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and clients effectively
• Certifications such as ISO 19011 Lead Auditor or relevant training in ISO standards are a must
• Previous consultancy experience and experience working with SMEs is advantageous
