Warehouse​/Admin Operative

DP Building Systems are a well-established distributor of cable management, cabling and electrical wholesale solutions who cover the UK from their Birmingham depot.

We are a super-stockist for all our brands, which include Unistrut, Marco, Fleixon, Pemsa, Legrand, Halfen and Lindapter.

Role Purpose

The Role is a hybrid one for an Admin & Warehouse operative.

You will work as part of a team under the supervision of the warehouse manager.

Your job will to be to assist the smooth operation of the warehouse ensuring all orders are picked and packed and despatched to the customer as required.

The job will also involve an admin element which will include, entering and placing orders, checking deliveries and booking in stock, also occasionally you will be asked to help with the input of sales orders and quotations.

Full training will be given.

Responsibilities of a Driver/ Warehouse Assistant:
To report to the warehouse manager Deliveries across the UK & locally To pick and pack orders to the required standard To load our vehicles and unload when required To Unload supplier deliveries and check goods against paperwork To serve trade counter customers giving a high level of service To maintain a clean & tidy working environment and ensuring that heath and safety policies are adhered to.

To cut channels to requested sizes (training will be given) Use of forklift may be required (Training will be given) The Person:
Full driving License
