Road Freight Forwarder Birmingham Up to £32,000 Hybrid Working

We're looking for an experienced Road Freight Forwarder to join a small, close-knit team in Birmingham. You'll be working alongside two seasoned forwarders, taking full ownership of shipments from start to finish in a role that genuinely values experience, autonomy, and work-life balance.

This is a hands-on operational role, ideal for someone who enjoys managing the full freight cycle and being trusted to get on with the job.

What you'll be doing:

Managing end-to-end road freight operations (imports & exports)

Booking collections and deliveries, routing and liaising with hauliers

Handling customs documentation and clearance processes

Tracking shipments and proactively resolving issues

Communicating with customers and overseas partners

Ensuring compliance and smooth movement of goods throughout

What we're looking for:

Proven experience in road freight forwarding in the UK

Comfortable managing shipments start to finish, including customs

Organised, proactive, and confident working independently

A team player who enjoys working in a small, experienced team

What's on offer:

Salary up to £32,000 (depending on experience)

Hybrid working

Flexible start times - start between 8am-9am, finish 4pm-5pm
