C1​/7.5T Driver

• A valid C1 licence and tacho card
• No DD’s, DR’s, IN’s, TT’s
• Previous experience in business-to-business 7.5T (C1) deliveries preferable but not required
• Flexible schedule for temp work

• Carrying out pre / post route vehicle inspections. You’ll be expected to report any defects or maintenance requirements.
• Delivering and collecting various types of goods to and from locations regionally and nationally.
• You may need to physically lift, carry and move some products (‘handballing’) during loading and unloading operations at times
• Communicate regularly with depot managers and traffic offices
• Follow closely all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulation
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

• We can offer flexibility, allowing you to pick and choose your working days, giving you the opportunity for a healthy work-life balance
• These positions are commutable from the west part of Birmingham
• Minimum 8-hour shifts
• Monday – Friday Days : £14 per hour, holiday pay, pension contribution added on to hourly rate
• Saturday Days : £15 per hour, holiday pay, pension contribution added on to hourly rate
• Sunday Days : £16 per hour, holiday pay, pension contribution added on to hourly rate
• Overtime after 8hrs
