Run Together Support Officer

Role Summary

England Athletics is the membership and development body for athletics and running in England. We work in partnership with the wider athletics family, especially our member clubs and bodies, UK Athletics, Sport England & commercial partners, to grow opportunities for everyone to experience our sport and to enable them to reach their full potential. England Athletics also provides national-level competition and is responsible for athlete development beneath world-class performance levels.

A vacancy has arisen at England Athletics for a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract Run Together Support Officer, to support the Participation and Programmes Manager in identifying new partners to expand the Run Together Network and work alongside Club Support Managers.

The role will focus on supporting a programme of engagement through our social running groups and associated partners, including troubleshooting the Run Together Digital Platform and signposting groups to Run Together resources. The Run Together Support Officer will also assist in retaining and expanding Run Together partners and provide additional support to our Run Together Community.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, strong communication and customer service skills and a keen attention to detail. The successful candidate should be able to travel to event locations and various locations across the country, including some weekend work.
