• Conduct assessments to determine the suitability of Special Guardianship Orders for children and young people.
• Provide expert advice and support to families and foster carers navigating the SGO process.
• Liaise with social service agencies, legal representatives, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and comprehensive support plans.
• Prepare detailed reports and documents for court proceedings and reviews.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies, maintaining the highest standards of practice.

• A degree in social work or equivalent qualification.
• Current registration with Social Work England.
• Extensive frontline experience in UK social services as a qualified Social Worker.
