Job Overview
Do you have experience supporting individuals with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges who may display challenging behaviour? We have the perfect next role for you! We are currently seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support children and young people aged 7 to 16 years in the Lea Hall/Kitts Green area.
ResponsibilitiesYou will be working with young people aged 7–16 years, supervising small groups and 1‑to‑1 sessions to provide behaviour support and learning assistance.
Qualifications- This is a full‑time, long‑term role, starting ASAP.
- Experience in supporting individuals facing SEMH challenges is essential.
- Experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviour is essential.
- Experience with trauma‑informed practices is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in a school setting, care or residential background would be ideal; personal experience combined with professional experience is welcomed.
- Pay starts from £89/day (PAYE) and will be adjusted to reflect experience.
- We offer £50 shopping vouchers for successful referrals of suitable candidates.
- This is a temporary position unless otherwise stated.
