We are seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join the Assessment Team in Birmingham. This ongoing locum role offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time working, competitive pay, and the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families across the community.

- Team Connection: Regular office days at the Ann Marie Howes Centre on Mondays and Wednesdays for collaboration and support.
- Conduct support planning with individuals and families, ensuring a thorough and person-centred approach.
- Undertake regular reviews to monitor progress and adjust plans where needed.
- Collaborate on Section 42 safeguarding cases, ensuring robust protection for vulnerable adults.
- Attend home visits and drop-in clinics to provide direct support.
- Engage in twice-weekly office meetings for professional development and team coordination.
- Participate in Teams interviews promptly to secure your placement within the Hodge Hill and Yardley Assessment Team.
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
- Experience in assessment work, with a preference for those familiar with Birmingham City Council practices.
- Driving licence preferred to enable travel between appointments.
- Placement or post-qualification experience in a similar setting is highly desirable.
