In this fast‑paced setting, you will conduct thorough pre‑birth assessments and contribute to vital decision‑making processes and outcomes for vulnerable babies. You will manage cases across Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Interim Care Order (ICO) stages, requiring adept skills in legal planning and pre‑proceedings.

Your comprehensive understanding of complex case discussions and multi‑agency strategies is essential, particularly in areas such as substance misuse, mental health, domestic abuse, and homelessness.

• Conduct detailed pre‑birth assessments and develop safety planning for vulnerable babies.
• Manage cases from Child in Need through to Interim Care Orders.
• Engage in legal planning and discussions for pre‑proceedings.
• Utilise multi‑agency frameworks to address issues like substance misuse, mental health challenges, homelessness, and domestic abuse.
