This company is a specialist in high-voltage infrastructure solutions, delivering installation and commissioning projects nationwide. With ambitious growth plans, they are now looking for a HV Installation Technician to strengthen their delivery team.

In this role you will install and commission HV transformers, AIS/GIS switch gear, substation components, and auxiliary systems. You will carry out HV terminations and connections, support FAT/SAT and energisation, and work alongside engineers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification.

This role would suit a HV Installation Technician with at least 5 years' experience working from 11kV up to 400kV, who is looking for long-term development, training, and the chance to work on some of the UK's most exciting HV projects.

The Role:

Install and commission HV transformers, switch gear (AIS/GIS) and substation equipment
Carry out HV cable terminations, busbar connections and auxiliary wiring
Support FAT, SAT and site energisation
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, standards and client requirements
Travel to sites across the UK (company HQ in Norwich)

The Person :

Experience in HV installation (11kV-400kV)
Ability to travel nationwide with expensed accommodation included
