Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 (Base)
Total Earnings (Shift): £34,160 - £41,480 (Includes 22% shift allowance)
Shift Pattern: 4-on / 4-off (2 Days: 7am-7pm | 2 Nights: 7pm-7am | 4 Days Off)
We are seeking a qualified Electrical Craftsperson to join our Estates & Facilities team. This role ensures the safety and operational efficiency of a high‑standard Commercial/Healthcare environment. Unlike many site roles, this position offers a consistent rotation with no on‑call requirements, allowing for a genuine work‑life balance.
The RoleYou will be responsible for a variety of reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks. The work is diverse and keeps you moving across the site.
- Reactive Repairs:
Responding to trip circuits and electrical faults. - Compliance:
Testing and maintaining emergency lighting systems. - General Maintenance:
Installing and repairing light fittings, sockets, and general small power. - Specialist Systems:
Maintenance of Nurse Call systems and associated healthcare electrical infrastructure.
We are looking for a professional with a solid background in Commercial FM or Construction.
Note:
we are currently unable to consider candidates with purely domestic experience.
- Time‑served Apprenticeship in a relevant electrical discipline.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- AM2 Certificate (or a JIB Gold Card for those who qualified prior to the current AM2 standards).
