Domestic Heating & Plumbing Engineer (Multi-Skilled Mobile Role)

Midlands Region (with occasional works outside this area)

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Domestic Heating & Plumbing Engineer to join our mobile engineering team. The successful candidate will carry out plumbing works, domestic heating installations, and boiler system maintenance, ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, service, and repair domestic heating systems and boilers
  • Carry out general plumbing works, including pipework, valves, and water systems
  • Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime for clients
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across multiple sites
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent Aurora HVAC professionally at all times
  • Participate in weekend on-call rota
Essential Skills &

Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in domestic heating systems and plumbing works
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Knowledge of air conditioning or refrigeration systems (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience with multi-trade tasks (basic electrical knowledge advantageous)
  • Knowledge of compliance testing and PPM schedules
