Lead Electrician (Training on Solar)

Midlands (Covering UK) – Birmingham, Derby, Nottingham, Peterborough, Cambridge, Norwich and surrounding areas.

£45,000 - £55,000 + Van + Overtime + Bonus + Pension + Progression + Holidays (Christmas Shut Down) + Food Allowance

We are looking for a fully qualified commercial electrician holding an AM2 licence to join a leading company in the renewable energy sector. This is a growth opportunity with pathways to Site Manager or Project Manager roles.

Our company installs commercial Solar PV systems and Solar‑Powered Car Ports across the UK, from 6 kW up to multi‑megawatt projects. We are MCS accredited and have an excellent reputation.

In this role you will be the Lead Electrician on site, overseeing all aspects of the electrical installation for commercial systems and supporting the growing workload.

• Installing Commercial PV, Solar Powered Car Ports & General Electrical Fit‑outs
• Travelling across the South of England – Monday to Friday, project dependent

• Commercial Electrician
• ECS Gold Card
• NVQ Level 3
• 2391 test and inspect
• AM2 licence
• Desire for training and progression into Site Manager or Project Manager
