• Carry out painting and decorating work as specified to Council housing stock to unoccupied properties.
• Complete internal or external decorating to domestic Council properties to a high standard.

We are looking for an experienced painter decorator with the skills to prepare the surfaces to be decorated, including minor plaster repairs, decorate using both water and oil based paints and making good after works are completed. You will need to be used to working in a clean and workmanlike manner, to a high standard and to strict deadlines.

You should be used to working in empty properties and alone where necessary. You may be required to work off ladders, work platforms, steps etc. so experience of this would be an advantage, but training will be provided if necessary.

Knowledge of COSHH regulations would be an advantage, but again training will be provided if required.
