Job Title:
Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: Local Work in Hull, East Yorkshire
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Salary: £42,000 – £46,000 per annum (depending on experience)
No Call Out!
Due to continued contract growth, our client are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join the expanding team. This is a local role with no call-out requirement, offering stability, excellent benefits and long-term progression opportunities.
The successful candidate will undertake repair, maintenance and installation of gas, plumbing and heating systems within commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out reactive repairs, servicing and maintenance of commercial boilers and gas appliances
- Install new heating systems in line with manufacturer instructions, best practice and current legislation
- Undertake plumbing and heating duties associated with commercial properties
- Service, repair and install appliances in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
- Issue gas safety notices and certificates in compliance with relevant regulations
- Update gas safety records and documentation (electronic and manual)
- Maintain accurate records of completed works, including measures and calculations
- Obtain material quotes from authorised suppliers via approved ordering systems
- Liaise with managers and work coordinators to receive instructions and resolve issues
- ACS Qualifications (Essential)
- Valid CSCS Card (Essential)
- Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
- Minimum 1 year plumbing experience (Required)
- Proven experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer
- Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and compliance
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
