Salary: £23 per hour

Contract Type: 3 Months ongoing with potential for permanent position

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm.

• General Carpentry Work:
  Carry out 1st and 2nd fix work, door hanging, skirting, architraves, and other joinery tasks.
• Social Housing Repairs & Maintenance:
  Work in occupied and void properties, repairing and maintaining kitchens, bathrooms, windows, and doors.
• Property Refurbishments:
  Undertake refurbishment work across housing units with high standards of craftsmanship.
• Customer Service:
  Communicate effectively with tenants and the public, ensuring work is completed on time and to the highest standard.
• Health & Safety:
  Follow all company health and safety guidelines.
• Maintenance & Minor Upgrades:
  Assist with general maintenance, flooring and other home improvements.
• Teamwork:
  Collaborate with other tradespeople and assist in multi‑trade tasks.

• Qualified Carpenter:
  Relevant qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ) and experience in 1st & 2nd fix carpentry.
• Proven Experience:
  
  Preferred experience in social housing or property maintenance sector.
• Full UK Driving License:
  Must have a valid licence and be able to drive company van.
• Multi‑Skilled:
  Ability to carry out other minor trades or assist with other trade tasks when needed.
• Customer‑Focused:
  Excellent communication and professional interaction with tenants.
• Self‑Motivated:
  Able to work independently or as part of a team to complete work on schedule.
• Health & Safety Awareness:
  Knowledge and commitment to health and safety regulations.
