Electrician

TXM Recruit are currently recruiting for an Electrical Test Engineer in the Birmingham area. The work involved will be working in a commercial or industrial setting for a large award-winning electrical company.

• Working hours – 45 hours per week
• Salary - £38,000 - £42,000, depending on experience
• Location – Birmingham

• Good sound electrical knowledge. Able to complete EICR’s in commercial / Industrial properties
• Extensive knowledge of single and three-phase fault finding and 1st time fixes.
• To conduct electrical repairs / minor works.
• To liaise with the helpdesk for planned and routine maintenance programmes and reporting procedures.
• To work to recognised industry standards at all times.
• To maintain records of all work, and that required paperwork is completed and sent in within the defined timescales.
• To undertake training as required to perform the duties of the role, including health and safety courses and further trade development to maintain current knowledge and professional qualifications (Continued Professional Development).
• Ability to act on own initiative.

• City & Guilds 2360 or 2365 Level 3, or equivalent to BS7671 18th edition
• NVQ Level 3 including AM2
• City & Guilds or equivalent
• An enhanced DBS disclosure will be requested
