Sales Advisor - Field Sales (Convenience). Want to be part of a brand new team? Excited by building distribution and winning new business? Ready to work directly with an ambitious FMCG distributor and make a real impact? This is a full time, permanent role.
Salary: £26,000 per annum (up to £31,200/annum OTE) + van and fuel card. Working: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Smollan is partnering with Red Star, a fast-growing UK FMCG distributor known for bringing disruptive, high-potential brands to market. This is the start of a brand-new field sales team, created to increase visibility, distribution and sales across the convenience channel.
What you’ll be doing- Building strong, long-lasting relationships with store owners and key decision-makers
- Increasing distribution across Red Star’s brand portfolio
- Driving additional sales through effective selling, visibility and ranging
- Managing your territory and call file to maximise coverage and impact
- Prospecting new stores and identifying untapped opportunities
- Acting as the face of the brands in your area - professional, knowledgeable, and trusted
- Be part of a newly launched sales team with real momentum
- Work directly with the client, not at arm's length
- Represent exciting, growth-focused FMCG brands
- Genuine opportunity to prove yourself and grow with the account
- Autonomy, responsibility and visibility from day one
- Support from Smollan - a global retail solutions business with 90+ years’ heritage
- Up to £31,200/annum On Target Earnings (£26,600 per annum + up to 20% KPI bonus) + company van with fuel card
- A full UK driving licence for at least 12 months
- Previous field sales or convenience retail experience
- Confidence building relationships and selling face-to-face
- Comfortable managing a territory and working independently
- A proactive approach to prospecting and problem-solving
- Ambition to grow, develop and be part of something being built
