Business Development Manager – Broker Partnerships (Midlands)

A leading fintech lender in the SME finance space is looking for a Business Development Manager to expand and manage a growing broker network across the Midlands.

The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and strengthening relationships with commercial finance brokers and introducers across the Midlands. Your focus will be on driving deal flow, educating partners on the platform, and positioning the business as a key funding solution for SME clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and grow a high-performing broker network across the Midlands
  • Develop strong relationships with commercial finance brokers and introducers
  • Increase deal flow and lending volumes from new and existing partners
  • Educate brokers on products, credit appetite, and the fintech platform
  • Manage your territory with regular face-to-face meetings and events
  • Work closely with credit and internal teams to deliver quick outcomes for clients.

  • Experience in business development within SME lending, commercial finance, or fintech
  • Strong network within the broker / introducer market
  • Proven ability to originate and convert deals
  • Relationship-led approach with strong commercial awareness
  • Self-starter comfortable managing a regional territory
