Area Sales and Specification Manager – Residential Mechanical Ventilation

Location:

South-based, ideally Birmingham to London

Remuneration: £40,000‑£55,000 + £10,000 bonus

Benefits: £7,800 car allowance + full benefits package

• Field sales role promoting a mid‑to‑high end range of mechanical ventilation, including MEV and MVHR systems
• Focus on the residential ventilation market
• Sell into predominantly M&E contractors and mechanical contractor installers
• Win specifications with house builders, architects and M&E consultants
• 80% new business development, 20% developing projects from existing relationships
• Projects ranging from 1–200 houses/flats
• Typical order value £… per house/flat
• Work in a buddy system with either a specification field sales rep or an area field sales rep
• Act as the go‑to person for technical insight and smart solutions

• Proven field sales track record in HVAC sales
• Experience selling into the residential marketplace
• Preferably ventilation sales, open to heat pumps and air conditioning sales experience
• Contacts within M&E contractors, mechanical contractor installers, house builders, architects and M&E consultants
• Strong new business hunter
• Stable career history
• High energy, resilient personality
• Technically capable, energetic, intelligent and commercially aware
